Grateful is an understatement for my appreciation, love and gratitude for one of my amazing coaches, Susan Bishop…meeting me exactly where I am and helping me continue to work towards my goals. Recently, I was struggling and feeling defeated and Susan heard me and sent help, I am so beyond grateful.

Wonderfully informative & CHALLENGING work to gain strength towards handstands. The workshops have in a short period of time made me stronger. I will be continuing to practice the methods & modalities I have learned & will be going back for more. VERY valuable help. Many thanks to you!

  • What I enjoyed training with Susan is that she always found a way to get you to your training goal. She is super happy and positive. She teaches drills quick and effective to your goal. She divides the drill you want to achieve in parts, so your mind and body get it easily. She is super cool! She makes you feel confidence.

And her cute dog Oskar is always cheering me on!

  • Susan's classes are amazing! So organized and informative and filled with skills and drills to help with the handstand journey.

  • In 2021 in the height of the pandemic I wanted to deepen my practice and learn new inversion skills. I discovered Susan Bishop on Instagram and knew she was who I wanted to be coached by. I reached out and within months I was learning postures and sequences I could only dream of conquering (i.e. crow to headstand with a jumpback, how to handstand, how to handstand into a chaturanga). Susan applies her engineering background and vast knowledge of anatomy to make advanced skills attainable. Fast forward to 2024 and I’m stronger than ever and now learning how to press handstand! Working with Susan is one of the joys in my life! If you’re interested in expanding your practice, you have come to the right place, Susan will help coach you to places you could only imagine!

  • I had my own daily practice before starting Susan's workshop. However, the drills and skills that I learned in the workshop really added to my practice. I feel stronger and more confident after only 4 weeks of practice. I really benefited from Susan's supportive instruction and found a great community of other handstanders.

  • Working with Susan has been life-changing! I originally reached out to her on IG to obtain a press handstand and since then she has helped me unlock several presses but we still have several to go! We meet over Zoom on a weekly basis and message throughout the week with videos of my successes and failures. Susan always has encouraging words to offer and great body awareness cues that make these challenging movements easier to breakdown. She also encouraged me to work my pull-ups which I was finally able to do one this month! She taught me how to track my macros where I experienced body fat loss with increased muscle - win win. As a 51-year-old woman, I am stronger today than I ever was in my 20's or 30's. Susan is so encouraging and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the body!

  • I joined the workshops with Susan because I was following her on Instagram and admired how she was in her 50’s and doing arm balances so easily. As soon as she offered workshops I joined. I wanted to learn from the expert how do be able to do it. She broke it down and built it up, for us, piece by piece.

  • The accountability classes were different from what I had expected, but I LOVED them so much! I was expecting more alignment, and handstand specific classes, but I ended up really liking the HIIT style because it helped not only build my strength + stamina, but worked my cardio! (Something I've been missing in my typical yoga practice). Susan is also incredibly approachable and I always feel like I can ask her any questions I need. Thank you so much!

  • Susan's classes really helped me get past a plateau in my handstand practice and start breaking free from the wall.

  • Susan's Project Resolution Handstand 2021 class was amazing! I didn't know what to expect going in and had never dabbled into inversions with my yoga practice. I wanted to challenge myself this year and was inspired by Susan's IG posts. If she could start handstanding at 50, so could I at 41! The first class I was sweating my brains out with the tabata work and could barely kick off the ground. But, after doing the drills and some wall work between classes, I was able to get up and even hold for 36 seconds!
